On the weekend of May 27th-28th May 2006 we are having our annual fly-in, everyone welcome.

Food --- free landing --- barbecue --- camping --- prizes!

There will be food available all day, hopefully including barbecue in the afternoon. Over-night camping is available but contact Shobdon Airfield direct on this one (01568 708369). There is a small prize for the most meritorious flight. There is no landing fee for permit aircraft, PFA members, or any other pre registered on phone numbers below.

Be advised by the tower as to the availability of grass runways, which may be in use by gliders or helicopters.

On landing follow marshals unless otherwise instructed by tower

If you require fuel before parking please inform tower and signal your intentions to the marshal. It is generally easier to refuel on departure

At weekends the airfield call sign is "Shobdon Information" and ground movements are under the control of AFISO

All aircraft must have third party insurance as per EC Regulation 785/2004. Sorry, no non-radio aircraft
